2002 Jeep Liberty AC Compressor“The A/C on our 2002 Jeep Liberty also went out. We were quoted $1900 to repair last summer. I couldn’t swallow the repair price-tag, so we toughed it out through the summer. I am also convinced that the A/C can be repaired for much less. I am researching pricing for a new compressor and condenser and how much the labor would be to replace. I imagine this might come out much less than what the dealership is telling us.”

The 2002 Jeep Liberty AC Compressor fails quite frequently. We’re not exactly sure if it’s an issue within the A/C System that causes premature failure, or if these 2002 Jeep Liberty A/C Compressors are just prone to breakage. What we do know is that we sell a bunch of them! Many times, the A/C Compressor Clutch will go out. Replacing it is an option, but the Clutch is only available through the Jeep Dealer and typically costs more than our Complete 2002 Jeep Liberty AC Compressor Assembly! Imagine that????

Moreover, swapping out the Compressor Clutch does not mean that your 2002 Jeep Liberty A/C Compressor has been replaced. In fact, if you think about it, it still has the same mileage on it as your Liberty does. These days, many AC Compressors are not lasting more than 100,000 miles (sometimes it’s quite a bit less than that).

Our Aftermarket 2002 Jeep Liberty Replacement Compressors are designed to be an exact fit and are of OEM quality. Usually under $179 (with shipping), our prices for the 2002 Jeep Liberty AC Compressor are fantastic and we still offer a full one-year warranty on the part. Please remember that when replacing the Compressor in your Jeep Liberty, it is imperative that you also install a new AC Accumulator and Expansion Device. Doing so ensures you are completing the job the right way and also maintains your warranty.
